Our camping trip was absolutely amazing! The location was stunning, with breathtaking views and plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. The campsite itself was clean, well-maintained, and had all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable.
One of the highlights was the serene lake, which offered a peaceful and picturesque setting. However, we were a bit disappointed that the paddle boats were fully booked during our visit. It would be wonderful if more boats were available and perhaps offered at a more budget-friendly rate, so everyone has the chance to experience the lake to its fullest.
A small watch-out: there were quite a few wasps and bees around, so be prepared, especially during meals or if you have sweet drinks.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature!

Had my doubts about Flekvieh as the facilities advertised seemed minimal and thought our kids wouldn't enjoy it. We were pleasantly surprised that there was more than enough to do while there. Canoe,paddle boat,fish,swim,hike and enough lush grassy open space to roam free. Will definitely return.
Stunning. It was so much more than we expected. Peace and quiet. We stayed in the unit against the river and the sound of frogs and running water was incredible. The hot tub was a sure winner. We will definitely stay again on our trip up coast. It’s the perfect spot to overnight if you have a late start out of Cape Town.
Simple but wonderful stay right on the farm damn - everything you need to enjoy the peace and quiet just bring kitchen basics with you.
What a beautiful place to relax and feel close to nature. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Hosts were so accommodating. Will definitely go back. Great for family bonding time.
The most beautiful and serene cabin, right on the water. It was clean and neat and had all the essentials needed. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back
Beautiful setting and the kids and dogs had the time of their life!!! Really good place to get away from city life. We stayed in Duiker glamp tent and it was perfect for that. Only reason why I won’t say 5 is because of gas geyser that either burns you or ice cold, but guess that’s just how it works 😁
Just what the doctor ordered. Quiet and peaceful. The Bosbok cabin was neat and tidy and everything we needed was provided for.

Being able to enjoy and observe farm life up close was a real pleasure, but the best part was the tranquillity. It is to be recommended.
Tranquil and serene stay on the farm's dam. Water is refreshing and clean to swim in. Try the fresh milk from the farm.
It was a very relaxing and peaceful stay in a beautiful setting. It was nice that they accepted dogs as our dogs really enjoyed exploring and adventuring along the river.

La Belle Alliance restaurant is AMAZING for breakfast!
I enjoyed Aan De Eike Guesthouse, My room were clean and the service were excellent.I felt very safe enjoyed every moment since I arrived. Swellendam is beautiful with most beautiful views. The location was very convenient and would recommend The Republican Restaurant. The food and vibe were awesome. It's safe to walk in Swellendam, what a beautiful place for entertainment

Scenery, the residents, the roads are in great condition (compared to many many many other towns/cities in SA).
Wildebraam Estate. Friendly people. No traffic. Has all the shops and places one needs.
