We loved our stay in the 1830 Cottage at Langfontein. It is a beautifully restored cottage filled with lovely antiques, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy fireplace. The welcoming staff arranged fresh farm flowers in every room and baked us bread. Sitting in the lush green garden surrounded by Karoo views is a balm for the soul.

Oh my goodness. After driving several km - its a grovel road. What a pleasant surprise when arriving at the most friendliest host. Dot's cottage was so amazing. Pretty, comfortable, spacious enough for the two of us. The bed is luxurious and the shower have "soft water". Outside several impalas played in the field - I've never seen that before. It was just such a blessing. A Fantastic stay and a definite book again for the future.

This place was utter tranquility. We came for work and enjoyed the house and the bliss of the farm live. The hostess was great at communication and we felt welcome from the start. Ditch the city life and take a break on the farm. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

Our second visit, and as enjoyable as the first. A wonderful welcome, including freshly baked bread, but the most stunning thing was the change in the Karoo after the first proper rain in six years. Green and wonderful flowers. The cottage is stunning and sitting on the stoop with thunder and lightning in the distance was a fantastic experience.
Thank you Marliza for the fantastic two days ,we will return again.
