Happy Family Guest House is located on Cliff Street, the ‘golden mile of whale watching’, in De Kelders.
The self catering, spacious guest house is neat and elegantly decorated, perfect for a relaxing holiday. Create wonderful and fond family memories in a home away from home. Amazing beach days and long walks along the coast can be enjoyed along with the stunning sunsets.
Happy Family Guest House has 4 comfortable bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 guests. The main bedroom contains a double bed, air-conditioning, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. This room has sliding doors with security shutters offering direct access to the terrace. The second seafront bedroom contains a double bed, and has direct access to the front terrace. This room has access to a toilet, a shower, and a bath just across the corridor. The third bedroom contains a double bed, and has use of an adjacent bathroom with a bath and a shower. The fourth bedroom is a roomy studio that contains 2 single beds, a sleeper couch, and a pool table, as well as an en suite shower. This room has direct access to the back yard and a children's jungle gym.
The fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area are open-plan. There is a large dining table and benches in the dinning area. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa and a flat-screen TV with premium DSTV and a DVD player. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
The lounge has sliding doors that open to a terrace with braai facilities and a small lawn area with beautiful views. Parking is available on-site.
The charming house is cleaned daily. At an additional fee breakfast is available on request.
Happy Family Guest House is close to the unspoiled Die Plaate beach, Stanfords bay, the scenic Klipgat trail, and the caves.

Beautiful home, perfect for families with kids. Magnificent view of the ocean and whale watching from the home. Close to look out points and trails to the caves. Friendly neighbours too. Lovely jungle gym and pool table was a highlight!
Thank you, we had a wonderful stay at the Happy Family Guest House. We were a group with ages ranging from 1 to 73 and it was perfect. Ideal for a family and more than enough space for ten people! Would have liked to stay much longer. And of course the view over the ocean is the best!

Definitely a fantastic place to visit during whale season.
The views are just a true beauty of Nature. Walking trails, whales season. comes with the best accommodation in the area and restaurants too.
What a spectacular find, stunning view! A family birthday weekend blessed with good weather and whales to entertain us. De Kelders is one of the most beautiful places on earth. The views are simply magnificent. Long stretches of quiet beaches. Whale season is incredible, in 2018 we had more than a 1000 whales in the bay.
However, De Kelders is loved and cherished by well seasoned travelers who return year upon year.
