A paradise apart...nostalgic beach stays does not get any better than this along the Cape West Coast. I feels like a world away, just 40 minutes from Cape Town International Airport en 5min walk along the 16 Mile Beach from the center of Yzerfontein village. White washed stylish simplicity with beautiful stand-alone private dune overlooking the beach, farm, village, national park - its got it all!
The beach (high water mark) is just 15 steps from your back door over the beach dune. Enjoy sundowners or sunrise from the top of the private beach dune with spectacular 360 degree ocean views.
The cottage lies snug behind the private beach dune for ample protection against the west coast winds - a local secret to enjoying outside barbeques more often!
Wide open spaces makes for luxurious outside wine and dining or simply celebrate the african sun with a barbeque.
An outside shower (hot and cold) simplifies beach life.
Ample safe uncovered off-street parking.
One of the safest villages along this coast (least reports of crime).
White washed and recently renovated...the simple luxury of the cottage will charm you from the word hello.
Each spacious bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and own private entrance from the garden.
Two rooms have queen size beds, the third hosts three single beds - all with pure cotton linen and towels. All rooms offer the luxury of each having their own en-suite bathrooms with showers and toilet.
Open plan kitchen, dining and living makes for great cooking and catch-up weekends with friends or family.

What a wonderful place...stunning accommodation, cotton bed linen, breathtaking sundeck virtually on the beach, a fireplace, Monopoly, beautiful walks/runs and a quaint village by the sea...Rooisee offers it all!

The Boutique Spa (Maki-Saki) in Yzerfontein offers so much to its clients. Beautiful accommodation with jacuzzi, heated pool and oh yes, don't forget the beauty treatments that you can book. A definite bucket list stay for all!.
