Welcome to Athanor Self Catering Cottages , Athanor is located in the beautiful Hogsback in the Eastern Cape and offers quality accommodation, ideally suited for nature lovers and the adventurous. Athanor boasts phenomenal views of the Thyme Valley.
The Accommodation comprises of 2 cottages:
Loerie cottage has 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed and a bathroom with a shower,toilet and basin. There are an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is well fitted for an easy self catering holiday which is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge and coffee- and tea-making facilities. The lounge has comfortable seating, as well as a double sleeper couch and a TV.
Piet-My-Vrou family cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything guests will need for self-catering. The lounge has a daybed, a single sleeper couch and a TV.

The serenity, cleanliness, friendly people and just the overall beauty of nature in Hogsback.
Lots of lovely hikes in calm and quiet place. Just beware of the amount and severity of the potholes throughout the town, even in an SUV you are most certainly going to feel them and you certainly can't avoid them all. Go for the quiet and the beauty of the forests.
