A really wonderful getaway, with excellent accommodation, food, and staff.
The peace and tranquillity of the place is what was most appreciated. The warmth of the staff can be felt everywhere. There’s just that personal touch that makes you feel so at home. Massages at the river was a bonus. River cottage was amazing. Thank you for making my hubby’s birthday so memorable. We will definitely return…
What an amazing experience! Will definitely recommend as a romantic getaway. And in such close proximity to Joburg. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the host is very accommodating. Will certainly be back there soon.

Johannesburg has a lot of places to go to and you won't be disappointed...
The hustle.
It was nice!
It’s a city that’s full of life.
We did the Johannesburg tour with a lovely tour operator, Thabang Tours. He was brilliant, took us to all important places, even to places which where not included on the itinerary. He was more of a friend than a tour guide ... great guy, he made us relive some parts of the history as he explained every detail as if it was a movie.
Johannesburg is a bit too busy for me. I rather choose destinations close to nature.

So much to do.
Everything is convenient.
