The Lodge comprises 12, spacious suites to suit every guests' needs. The main guesthouse features 1 Honeymoon Suite, 4 bedrooms fitted with queen-size beds, and 2 rooms with three-quarter beds. Each room has its own private bathroom. There is also a communal sitting room available.
We also have self-catering units available which includes 2, double bed self-catering suites, 1 self-catering suite with x2 three-qurter beds and 2 self-catering units each with x3 bedrooms, perfect for families.
In the main house each bedroom features a TV with DStv and coffee- and tea-making facilities. All rooms are equipped either with air-conditioning or a ceiling fan.
All the self-catering units are equipped with a sitting area and TV with DSTV. The 3-bedroom self-catering units all have fully equipped kitchens while the 2-sleeper self-catering units are equipped with a kitchenette with basic heat- and eat facilities.
Area Information:Esmarline lodge is located 5 km from brits (600m gravel road). The guesthouse is situated on a farm where the chickens, ostriches and quinea fowls range freely. The lovely farm atmosphere makes it easy to relax as you are away from the hustle of the city.
Property Facilities:Guests have access to a sparkling swimming pool to cool off in on those hot summer days. There is also a pool table available. All self-catering units are equipped with a braai-area, while guests staying in the main house will have access to a bigger communal braai area.
Attractions:The property is located 8 km from Brits Mall, 20 km from Dikhololo Game Reserve and 1.4 km from Wagpos High School. The property is 6 km from NG Church Krokodilrivier and 7 km from At se Gat 4WD. NG Church Brits is 7 km from the accommodation, while Miracle Waters Dive Centre is 12 km away.

Friendly service from host Abe , clean room, noisy neighbours, would be nice to have generator during load shedding, 2 of the 3 nights I was there were spent in darkness
Very neat and clean...serene and quiet getaway....i really enjoyed it...the only thing that upset me was the fact that I booked a 3 room self catering chalet...and when i got there....they mixed up my reservation....and wanted me to take 3 separate rooms inside their guest lodge with a communal kitchen and bathroom....I paid R2400 for 1 night and that's not what i was expecting.. after some discussion they agreed to give me my own chalet....I was not impressed.
Our stay at the lodge is unforgettable. Initially my wife was a bit skeptical but after sleeping on night, she loved the place.
Abe , the receptionist is always helpful and willing to go an extra mile.
The welcome was quite warm. A few touch ups is needed around the front yard of the venue, The main garden is beautiful but because of too much flies that made it difficult for us to enjoy unhindered. This needs a movement of their cows. 10 out of my 10 for their manager Abe he was hands on on every need.Overall we had great stay, thanks to Jenny from Afristay for everything.

What can I say but this was one of the places I have stayed in. Staff was very friendly, helpful and polite. The room was clean, comfortable and very very clean. When I return to South Africa and go back that way this will be the place a stopover at. Great experience. Thank you so much.

Not the roadworks in town, but definitely to see after 4 years since my last visit to Brits, that the town is better and bigger and definitely more options then 4 years back.

Great place for a nice holiday. I enjoyed the place great service. Its worth going for a second time. Cool bar, all drinks available.
Mall.
Visited Brits Mall. We also visited the stalls for vegetables and fruits. We wanted to visit the Platinum place. This is a very relaxing place where one can swim, slide a braai your meat and network with a variety of people.
It's OK... Just the gravel made it a bit unpleasant.
I loved the holiday atmosphere, the kiddies facilities for all ages. The food. The bar was top notch and I loved the quietness of bush at night.
