Beautiful Elgin valley to relax after long day of wine tasting. Beautiful sunset evenings. We enjoyed the stay.
Beautiful views, lovely fireplace and very quiet!
Our stay was a magical experience: we had silence and endless views; the dam was beyond lovely, easily accessible, gentle water and the shadowy movements of fish underneath the surface. Two Blue Cranes appeared early in the mornings and added to the magic. The cottage was lovely and comfortable and our hostess did everything possible to be helpful. We left with heavy hearts and will certainly be back. Thank you also to Afristay for making the booking process seamlessly easy.

Elgin is great and filled with lots of places to visit. I would recommend popping in at the railway market and Charles Fox (it’s a bit of a distance but the champers is with it)

Close enough to get there quick and far enough to escape the 'citylife' and experience forests, home made bakes and beautiful farms...
Great weather and a great Railway market.
Not much to do. It's more so suited for people who want to unwind.
