Area Information:Jacobs Bay is situated between popular tourism towns of Langebaan and Paternoster. This authentic West Coast village is wrapped around seven pristine bays and beaches. This area is a favourite amongst, fishermen, surfers, birdwatchers, hikers and nature lovers. The Plot is situated in the Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve and many wildlife species can be seen along the way in the wild or along the nature reserves and private animal parks. The coastline provides scenic hiking trails with magnificent views of the ocean. Guests enjoy day trips to nearby national parks, towns and historical places such as the West Coast Fossil Park on Langebaanweg. Wine lovers enjoy the Darling Wine Route and nature lovers, the West Coast National Park. Fishermen can fish along the Jacobs Bay coast, the Langebaan Lagoon, Swartriet beaches and the Berg River. The Plot is a perfect stopover for guests traveling to and from Namibia on the N7. Peak flower season is between the 15th of August until 15th September and The Plot is the ideal place to live amongst this incredible display of nature.
Property Facilities:The Plot includes the Jacobs Bay Backpackers, The Pixie and Fairy Village, The West Coast Labyrinth and the Succulent Nursery and is located just 400m from the beach. It is an ideal venue and accommodation for family get-togethers, weddings, weekend getaways, bachelor parties and corporate events. There are plenty of private entertainment areas for groups or couples. Facilities include female and male ablutions and a communal kitchen. There is a play area for kids and our front office can arrange any local tours. The shop sells ice, firewood and the gift and curio shop sell fairies, pixies, dreamcatchers and kiddies’ toys. The Succulent Nursery sells a wide variety of cacti, succulents, native plants and rock art. The new West Coast Labyrinth is free for visitors to walk and enjoy.

Great place to stay, owners are great and very welcoming. Hospitality at its best. Make sure you don't miss this great experience at the Oasis. Neat and welcoming accommodation.

Been there twice this year what a peace of HEAVEN on earth a little jewel of this world we live in. The owners are absolutely so friendly and accommodating they ensure your.safety and comfort there is everything that u will need and more and if u can't find it ask they will assist i was mezmerized by its beauty waking up to the birds singing the waves crashing just soul clensing. The staff are so sweet and helpful always cleaning they blend i to the surroundings while working did i say helpful they also go above and beyond to make you comfortable and the.staff is extremely friendly always smiling and greeting. There is always hot water to shower and the bathroom Is always clean the accommodation is so cute and whimzical. Aaaaah and ofcourse my bush tv the bon fire in the fire pit was brilliant the chats and giggles we had was magical If i had my way i would NEVER leave. WE WILL BE RETURNING AGAIN AND AGAIN thank you very much E&G and staff much love your one and only Lampies Family.
Absolutely love it here. I have been here a few times and brought my fiance for a last minute get away. They even put us in an a-frame because of our tent issues. Would recommend them to anyone I see 😁❣️
I really enjoyed our stay at Jacobs Bay Backpackers. Everything I needed was there and plenty of shady places to braai. It was clean and not noisy with friendly people. It is well situated along the West Coast

Baviana Beach lodge lived up to the splendor of the surrounding nature and the sea. The host Belinda, made us feel at home immediately with her friendliness and helpfulness. The added touch of a bottle of wine, chocolate, fruit and coupons for a free coffee latte at the nearby restaurant made our weekend xtra special. We are looking forward to visit this special guest house again for the fantastic view of waves crashing on the rocks from the lodge, and to get close by, also just a minute's walk away, as well as the lovely garden. Beautiful and comfortable setting!

Quiet, quaint and beautiful West Coast!
Everybody is so friendly. We had coffee at the coffee shops, ate at restaurants. Johan from Togreyersvlei wedding venue took us to all the lovely places, the food and all the friendly people were amazing, thank you, we will be returning, again.
