Our Igloos range from a single to a four-sleeper unit and are perfect for travellers on a shoestring budget. We also offer a studio, dormitory-style flat sleeping up to 15 people - great for groups and backpackers. In addition, Igloo Inn boasts a small caravan park nestled between palm trees, with shared ablution facilities.
Igloo Inn is conveniently situated in Annadale, next to a cafe, restaurant, DVD shop, vehicle repair shop, and a variety of other small businesses.

Enjoyed our short stay in the unique igloo experience, it's a fun idea and we found the place clean, secure, well painted with a marvelous atmosphere as they advertise. We took our doggie with and he loved exploring the camping area garden and did not want to leave. I like the fact that the gate remains locked to keep out non guests which made us feel more secure. Other areas never had water but as they use a borehole tank we had sufficient water supply. We used the outdoor kitchen and never had any issues. We had mixed group of other guests staying at the venue but they kept to themselves and were not roudy as some reviews state.
Definitely will stay there again when we next go to Polokwane.

Yes igloo inn is more a Backpackers as others have stated however good value for money as Polokwane is a very pricey place for accommodation and we found the host Oom Robert to be quite a character. They keep strict policy regarding closing time of the gate and office at 10pm so please arrange if you are going to be late. If you are late and have arranged they will gladly open up for you. We wanted to bring guests to the property and had get prior permission to do so for the safety of other guests they said and to stop any unsavory characters from just wandering on the property therefore the gate remains locked in order to keep control. We liked that cause at least there was an element of security in these days and times. There is not a full kitchen in any of the rooms however some rooms had a fridge and microwave and there is a shared kitchen with a stove. Microwave, fridge, zink it's a little worse for wear at the moment but we were able to cook with our own utensils there and it was functional enough. This is the second time we have been to igloo inn and see that the owners are improving the area on an ongoing basis with lovely paving where we can walk and more chairs, upgrade in bedding and a stricter noise policy towards other guests. We will certainly return

I could access lot of fun things
Friendly service!
Not busy like Joburg, one gets to relax in the atmosphere away from the city.

Everything. The food. The lodge. The traveling. The weather. All was well and enjoyable
It is quiet and nice environment, the people there are friendly . The only thing i suggest they must do is provide Mops in the bathrooms coz there is absolutely nothing to wipe with.

The people are mostly friendly, and beautiful sites and sounds of Polokwane.
The area I was at was breath-taking and refreshing.
