In the lounge, with fireplace and relaxing atmosphere guests will find a console internet, sofa to watch TV or read a book, complimentary magazines, books & info brochures.
There are six guest rooms, three traditional rooms located in the main building and three new rooms located in a new wing. Each with their own private entrance from the porch overlooking an enchanting garden with swimming pool.
All the rooms have en full en-suite facilities and are supplied with individual heating, satellite TV, tea/coffee facility, hairdryer and pure cotton linen. The breakfast is served in the restaurant and a dedicated menu is placed in the rooms so that guests can order breakfast in advance.
Area Information:Swellendam is the 3rd oldest town in the Republic of South Africa, a town with 17,537 inhabitants situated in the Western Cape province. The town has over 50 provincial heritage sites most of them buildings of Cape Dutch architecture. Swellendam is situated on the N2, approximately 220 km from both Cape Town and George.

Guest may enjoy drinks on the porch or in the lounge area.
Marloth Nature Reserve is on five minutes from La Sosta and is great for walking or hiking and the nearby Bontebok National Park has over 200 species of birds and antelope species such as Bontebok, Grey Rhebuck, Red Hartebees as well as many smaller mammals.
You may have a picnic or a break (barbecue) on the banks of the beautiful Breede River.

La Belle Alliance restaurant is AMAZING for breakfast!
I enjoyed Aan De Eike Guesthouse, My room were clean and the service were excellent.I felt very safe enjoyed every moment since I arrived. Swellendam is beautiful with most beautiful views. The location was very convenient and would recommend The Republican Restaurant. The food and vibe were awesome. It's safe to walk in Swellendam, what a beautiful place for entertainment
Historical information and value
Scenery, the residents, the roads are in great condition (compared to many many many other towns/cities in SA).
Wildebraam Estate. Friendly people. No traffic. Has all the shops and places one needs.
