Die Ou Lady Gastehuis is situated in the town of Calvinia, Northern Cape.
Accommodation is offered in rooms equipped with linen and towels, electric blankets, air-conditioning, a TV with selected DStv channels, including some sport channels and kyknet. All rooms has a bathroom with a shower, as well as a small kitchenette with a kettle, a fridge, a microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Breakfast is also available at an additional charge. On a weekend breakfast must be ordered the evening before. There is a small coffee shop on the premises which is open from Monday to Friday from 7am till 5pm
Parking is in the back yard of the guesthouse under a spotlight with security cameras. A Play park is available for children to enjoy.
Calvinia offers attractions and restaurants such as Calvinia Museum, The Big Red Post Box, Die Blou Nartjie, and Hantam Huis Restaurant. Attractions located in the surrounding area include Akkerendam Nature Reserve, Oorlogskloof Nature Reserve, and Oorlogskloof Rock Pigeon Hiking Trail.

Even though it was in the December holidays and the area was "dead quiet" we enjoyed the hospitality, Friendly people and clean units.
