Trail End Private Estate is situated next to the beautiful Swartvlei lake, just a 10 minutes’ drive from Sedgefield and 20 min from Wilderness. This tranquil treasure on the Garden Route is the perfect place where you can escape from a busy schedule to embrace the serenity and beauty this area has to offer

Chrysalis is a modern yet authentic wooden self-catering house inside Trail End Private Estate, consisting of an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The house offers 2 spacious bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and both have walk in en-suite bathrooms.

The kitchen is fully equipped and offers a dishwasher and washing machine. Folding doors open up onto a garden with a braai area. During this chilly winter, the unit’s fireplace transforms the house into a cosy pad, ideal for those winter break-away.

For the playful of heart, the beautiful lake allows for a variety of fun water sport and recreation, such as water skiing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, and lazy sundowner cruises. Bring your boat and launch it from Trails End Private Jetty.

You can also take a drive through the Garden Route and enjoy all the adventures this beautiful area has to offer, or walk, run, or cycle from the estate as there is a hiking trail, or enjoy bird watching and various mountain biking opportunities right on your doorstep.

The Estate also features a communal TV- and recreational room, which includes a table tennis table, as well as a communal swimming pool accommodating both adults and children.

On Saturday mornings, you are welcome to take a relaxing stroll at the slow market and make your pick of a variety of mouth-watering meals and fresh products.
