Wonderful chalets. Loved the towels shaped into elephants. The wildlife comes to you....warthogs and buck and birds come visiting while you sit on the patio of your chalet. The game drives were very good. A 10 hour drive from my home.....but worth it

The food and customer centricity at Mabula is beyond excellence - Thanks to Barbara, the Sous chef at the Main Hotel, who is the epitome of providing customer delight beyond expectations. During our last few days at Mabula she went over and above (exceeding expectations) making sure specific food requirements of our group of 12 people are met - during Christmas lunch ; not an easy task but possible due to the sheer efforts of Barbara. Thank you Barbara - you epitomize customer excellence.

What's not to Love about Mabula. The venue is stunningly decorated and you are made to feel welcome at every turn. Food at the lodge, served by buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner always has a wonderful selection to choose from. There is so much amazing and tasty food! The rooms in the lodge have amazing beds and plenty of space that you don't feel cramped. Being surrounded by nature is the best, with some of the animals roaming around the lodge grounds, you see something new without leaving your room. The best for me though was the game drives with the incredible rangers and guides who have so much knowledge to share, and are always friendly and cheerful. A big 5 reserve that never ceases to amaze. Keep up the good work!

During September 2017 I was fortunate to spend a weekend at Mabula Lodge. At the age of 53, this was my 1st safari ever. What a wonderful surprise and experience. The accommodation, friendly staff, friendly tour guides, excellent food, safari drives, everything, everything was 10/10. I have only 1 complaint: My time at Mabula Lodge was too short. If it is God's will, I hope to see Mabula Lodge in 2019. Thank you Mabula Lodge for making the weekend one to remember.
