This elegant lodge comfortably accommodates 8 adults and 8 children. Each of the 4 air-conditioned rooms has a luxurious king-size bed, which can be moved apart to make 2 single beds as well as two single beds for the kids in an open loft above.

The bathrooms are en-suite, comprising a shower, a basin, and a separate toilet.

The real joy of this lodge is the shared main living area, where many a fine evening has been had. The contemporary open-plan kitchen and a tastefully furnished lounge area lead onto a lovely deck with a 20-seater wooden outside dining table, a jacuzzi, pool, sun loungers, chairs, and umbrellas.

Plenty of shade in fact, as the lodge is built amongst the trees! Chameleons, geckos, and tree frogs are frequent visitors.
A large braai area is located on a lower deck with loads of seating as well as a large swimming pool with a waterfall and a baby pool and rail for aerobics.

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern gas and electrical appliances, together with 2 large fridge-freezers, a large fridge, and a chest freezer, to keep everything frosty. It gets warm in Mozambique! The lounge area is equipped with comfortable seating and a large television. The living area also has an air con.

The living area has a TV with DSTV. The DSTV is activated and is ready for you to watch.

This house has a small, private gym for the sole use of Lodge guests.

There is a wifi router with a Vodacom Mozambique SIM card installed. We provide the first 5 gigs of data free to you, however, if you use this up you can take a drive to the Village and purchase Vodacom Mozambique data. Ask Andile (one of the permanent staff at the house) to assist you with the loading of the data.

Two of the bedrooms have flat-screen TVs with Netflix, this is at your own expense.

Please note that we are around 200 meters from the beach, a slow walk takes 4 minutes to reach the beach.

In case of blackouts, a generator can be used. Solar lights are placed outside so the lodge is not in complete darkness during outages.

Our gorgeous lodge is tranquility and privacy redefined. No wooden houses or cramped rondavels! Comfort and contemporary elegance combined with practical simplicity make for an amazing holiday in an African bush beach setting.

There is an entry and exit permit that you need to get at the entrance gate to the Estate, cost is R100. Remember to hand this permit back when you leave and collect your R100.

There is a public launch site available at R100 per launch.

BOREHOLE WATER
We are using borehole water which contains a lot of iron even though we bought an industrial filter, it is not advisable to drink the water unless it has been boiled but it is perfectly safe to use in the pool, showers, and jacuzzi. We had the water tested in the lab.

WiFi
Free WiFi is available at the lodge but it is not uncapped. 5 gigs of Free WiFi will be available for guests, in the event of they use more it will be at their expense. You can purchase Vodacom Mozambique data and ask Andile to assist you with loading the data onto the router.

ELECTRICITY
As we all know the state of Eskom and EDM we have numerous power surges and blackouts. This unfortunately can affect appliances at any time.

REMOTENESS
The lodge is remote and any last-minute repairs & maintenance are logistically time-consuming. We do however always strive to give the best service as soon as possible.

STAFF
Please communicate with the staff when it comes to starting/leaving times, security, and locking of the chalets, the staff is practically available 24 hours a day as they live 150 meters from the lodge, they can also be reached by using the Walki Talki if the guests choose to do so.

INSECTS AND OTHER UNUSUAL ANIMALS
There are insects, mosquitoes, and other animals like monkeys, and snakes, very common and aggressive but not deadly. All doors should stay closed when leaving the rooms.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

**Please note that a 4x4 is required to reach the estate (You need to reduce tyre pressure by 1,2 - 1,5 bars max) No 2x4 vehicles will be permitted on the premises as they are damaging the roads on the estate.**

The swimming pool at this house has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk.

STAFF TIP
There is a compulsory staff tip. R70 per day for the housekeeper and R50 per day for the gardener. This includes your day of arrival and departure.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT
a refundable breakage of R4000 is payable 1 month before arrival date and refunded within 14 days of departure.

EARLY And LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Late check-out is on request only. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, we will deduct the extra charge of R1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit, check out no later than 3 pm.

No pets are permitted. Loud music, parties, and functions will not be allowed. House rules in all Estates have a noise level cut-off of 10:30 pm. Should you not adhere to these rules the full breakage deposit will be retained.
