Property Facilities:Joubertsdal, founded in 1792, is one of the oldest farmsteads in the area and is situated along the R60-highway just 17km outside Swellendam, right at the foot of the majestic Langeberg Mountain.
Joubertsdal offers a modern venue for weddings or any special event and accommodates up to 160 guests.
Swellendam is the third oldest settlement in South Africa, founded by the Dutch East India Company in the year 1745. A town famous for its architechture, history and sites. Well worth a visit. Marloth Nature Reserve is hidden away in the imposing Swellendam Mountains, between Swellendam, Ashton, Barrydale and Suurbraak. Marloth offers various day trails, ranging from easy, short walks to more strenuous, longer hikes.

La Belle Alliance restaurant is AMAZING for breakfast!
I enjoyed Aan De Eike Guesthouse, My room were clean and the service were excellent.I felt very safe enjoyed every moment since I arrived. Swellendam is beautiful with most beautiful views. The location was very convenient and would recommend The Republican Restaurant. The food and vibe were awesome. It's safe to walk in Swellendam, what a beautiful place for entertainment
Historical information and value
Scenery, the residents, the roads are in great condition (compared to many many many other towns/cities in SA).
Wildebraam Estate. Friendly people. No traffic. Has all the shops and places one needs.
