Over The Moon is a luxury 5 Star graded guesthouse situated on the slopes of Northcliff ridge, with stunning views of Johannesburg, Rosebank and Sandton.
It is located on a large real estate with terraced gardens in an environmental controlled area of Johannesburg. Our mission is to accommodate our guests in comfort in our peaceful and tranquil environment so that they feel at home away from home.

In Room Facilities:

We have a sparkling outdoor pool, a fully equipped meeting room/boutique conference room and use solar powered energy to provide for most of our electricity needs. Safe and secure parking is provided for inside the guesthouse property, A laundry service is available on request and a shuttle service can be arranged when required. Although smoking is strictly forbidden inside the guesthouse, smoking facilities do exist on the balconies, patio and in the gardens.

Area Information:

Tourist attractions close by include Soweto and the Mandela House Museum in Vilakazi Street, a Shebeen in Soweto, the Apartheid Museum, the Hector Peterson Museum, a traditional meal at Wandies, Gold Reef City, Lindfield House in Auckland Park, Constitution Hill and Prison (the Fort), the Sterkfontein Caves with a visit to Maropeng (better known as the Cradle of Mankind), the Lion Park, the Lesedi Cultural Village where 5 different tribes discuss their customs and provide entertainment with traditional dancing and the Elephant sanctuary at the Hartebeestpoort Dam. And a little further north close to Tshwane (Pretoria), the Cullinan Diamond Mine where the largest diamond in the world was found, Sammy Marks House, a visit to Paul Kruger's furnished house, Church Square and the Union Buildings which house the office of the President of South Africa.

Over The Moon Guesthouse provides modern air conditioned accommodation with spacious bedrooms and en suite bathrooms (each with a bath and shower), private patios and all the luxuries frequent travellers need to make their stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Free WiFi, satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar and electronic safes are provided in all the rooms. Breakfast is served between 07h00 to 09h00. Dinner is only available upon request.

The guesthouse is centrally located within 15-20 minutes from the Johannesburg City Centre, Sandton (Gautrain station), Rosebank (Gautrain station), Hyde Park, Randburg and Roodepoort and is close to major shopping centres, dining districts, universities, hospitals and sporting facilities. The western bypass highway, which provides easy access to the Lanseria and OR Tambo Airports is close by.
