What a fantastic stay! Our hosts were exceptional and the accommodation was top class.
The scenery is stunning, and the river flowing through the property gives such a tranquil feel.
We enjoyed the restaurant, the portions were generous and prepared with quality.
The facilities are excellent, with enough to entertain young and old.
We will be visiting again, and can recommend Rocky Drift to anyone who is looking for a stunning break.

A hidden gem
We had such a wonderful weekend at Rocky Drift with my 3 dogs ,son and husband.
The campsite was so beautiful with breathtaking views.
Lovely scenery. Very loud peacock and frisky tortoises add to the charm. No TV and no cell phone signal makes it a break from the rat-race. Would be super cosy in winter - Owl House has an indoor fire-place.

It was such a relaxing long weekend, will definitely be back. Our chalet was equipped with everything we needed. The fireplace in the living room was our highlight on the cold evenings. Our dogs enjoyed it tremendously - as they could just run free while hiking and the paths were clear so we could see far ahead.

The scenery and the history..
We want to thank Shamrock Arms for the amazing service, thorough communication and great food (with special effort to treat us to our liking) from the enquiry up until the minute we left. We were tired and emotionally going through the changes that a move normally bring. We have finally settled in and we are getting used to the traveling for shopping and other services, but we always pass Shamrock Arms with a smile!
Thank you to your staff... We mainly interacted with the manager, Martin (I apologize for not noting his surname), who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. He even connected us with the necessary people when we found that there was broken into our house while we were sleeping in your lovely guest house.
He was of so much assistance and he made us feel calm, while I became agitated of leaving the guesthouse for check out time,while the police were still on their way to investigate the matter at the house. Him and his seniors made special arrangements and offered us a special price for another night. My husband slept in the house to ensure no further damage and my daughter and I could spend the rest of our day and night, in the safety and luxury of shamrock arms.
Thank you! You've gone above and beyond to serve us and that sure was welcoming to our new hometown.
Furthermore, I want to personally thank you for the effort and attention to detail on the lovely clean smell to your linen. We've spent many nights in clean beds in hotels/guest houses/lodges/etc., but the 1 thing that distinguished you from them; was climbing into the bed with that strong amazing clean smell and i also found much comfort in it when I attended to my daughter during the evenings. Thank you for that extra attention to detail and expense -it made it "home away from home".
We will gladly refer you to family and friends!
