Langebaan is set in the Saldanha district, which is the playground of the Cape West Coast Peninsula, and natural water sport haven, within an hours’ drive from Cape Town. It's sandy beaches and calm waters borders the West Coast National Park and has many restaurants and accommodation on the banks of the Lagoon. These waters are well known as a paradise for bird watchers and is also the place where “Eve’s Footprint” was discovered. Our ancient history can further be explored at the Fossil Park just outside of town where the fossils of bears, sabre tooth cats, short necked giraffes and many other exotic animals, which inhabited the West Coast some 5 million years ago, can be viewed.

We booked at Suzie Q for 2 nights. Thanks Alet! Comfortable, neat and attractive accommodation (the well-furnished stoep should be at its best in spring and summer). Great farm atmosphere. Far enough from city life and main roads for a peaceful, rural stay, yet within half an hour from local towns for shopping. Friendly and helpful host.
An absolute pleasure and what a beautiful relaxing natural setting.
I highly recommend this as your choice if you want to be clear of the main stream.
Had a great stay. We had a small family get together on Christmas day and Alet gave us support with table cloths, plates and knifes and forks. Thanks again.

Our stay at Schaftplaas was fantastic. We enjoyed every moment of it and the place was breathtaking. I did send them a review on Facebook, but will do it again. With great pleasure, I give them ★★★★★. Why? They have the most beaut place and Alet was very very friendly. To top it all off, she brought us breakfast, that was to die for. Alet and her daughter and also Sophie, they was excellent at everything.

The service and where it is located is really good
Many things to do in Langebaan.
It's my first time now and beautiful
We were there for the Blue Lagoon triathlon
whole place ,malls nearby and an casino 2 minutes away
Good seefood restaurant
A bit of everything. The cruise was our favourite. Captain Hans was amazing, our 3rd trip with him. And for the kids, the fun park.
The sunsets are amazing and being close to the beach.
