Langhuis: A large cottage with a lounge two bedrooms, two bathrooms and has electricity.
The kitchen has a stove, large fridge/freezer, microwave and other items such as a kettle and a toaster. It also has a fireplace to create a cosy atmosphere in winter.
Bedrooms - there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and bunk beds. The other room has a double bed and two single beds. There is also a double bed and a single bed in the lounge.
Bathrooms - There are two bathrooms the one has a bath, toilet and basin, The other has a shower toilet and basin.
The house is fully equipped with electricity.
Ou Kerkie
This cottage has a double bed in the main room with en-suite bathroom.
Additional bathroom with shower, toilet, basin in case there are more than 2 people staying at once, with a double bed sleeper couch in the living area.
Fully equipped house and built on the dam wall.

Please note, from Patensie side we will recommend a 4x4, but is still possible with a 4x2 with high clearance. From Willowmore side, it is about 70km gravel road, possible with any vehicle, but we will recommend a high clearance vehicle.
Please note we do not have cellphone reception. The keys of the cottages will be inside the cottages on day of arrival.

Netjies en skoon verblyf. Vriendelike ontvangs.
The Ou Kerkie Cottage was neat and tidy and set in beautful surroundings. Although the winter nights were freezing, a hot bath and wonderful bedding kept us warm and cosy.
Really nice, the birding is of the highest order. Just to note that the shop is surprisingly well stocked.
Ons verblyf daar was ongelooflik. Die omgewing is baie mooi en rustig. Ons verblyf 10 uit 10. Jana is baie gasvry en behulpsaam. Aanbeveel vir enige iemand wat n lekker rustige wegbreek soek. Uitsig uit klein Kerkie ongelooflik mooi. Was mal oor kaggel en die bad. Bed slaap baie lekker. Sal volgende keer baie langer bly!!
Our stay was comfortable. Unit had everything in kitchen we needed. Comfortable bed and nice bathrooms. Pity the dam had no water though. Only negatives were no comfortable outside chairs supplied and fridge was not cold.
Peaceful stay. Home was clean and well catered for.

Lovely setting and "padstal" coffee shop as part of the setup makes it a convenient base from which to explore.
