Sunset Lodge & Safaris Hoedspruit offers guests to the Greater Kruger Area a unique bush experience near Orpen Gate, including great food, game drives, Bush Walks, a Private Gym to keep up the fitness, all in the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve Limpopo. Our rates include Dinner, Bed & Breakfast, use of the gym, a bush walk or drive. A 2 night minimum stay applies when booking Accommodation with Sunset Game Lodge. SOLAR AND BATTERY POWER BACK UP SYSTEMS have been added for the convenience of our Guests, ENSURING THAT THINGS LIKE LIGHTS AND THE WI-FI IS ALWAYS ON! We are well on our way to become Energy Independent and a 100% Eco Friendly Lodge. We can arrange big 5 drives to the Kruger with specialized guides. We are not shy to share our knowledge of the area, including the Blyde River Canyon or Panorama Route as it is also known. We are well placed to visit numerous tourist destinations from our lodge including Kruger National Park, Blyde River Canyon, Tzaneen and Phalaborwa.
On arrival a Conservancy Fee or R120.00 will be charged at the Entrance Gate, this is a once-off fee for the duration of your stay.

Fabulous stay in February. Excellent accommodation and wonderful hosts in Vincent and Toni.
Could not have had a more wonderful experience. Many many animals visiting around the lodge which was magical
We were a family of 8, split into 4 amazing rooms over Christmas. We could not have asked for a better place. The view from the upstairs platform was amazing and my sisters room overlooked the bush. Our rooms were overlooking the pool and again they were spotlessly clean and luxurious. The boma was stunning and we booked our Christmas lunch outside and welcomed family there. Nothing was too much trouble, Dewan was an amazing host, I even got a welcome text as we landed. Plus we fell in love with Jinx, the cute dog.
The facilities were brilliant, lots of space in the walk in fridge and the kitchen was perfect for all our needs.
I would recommend Sunset Lodge to anyone. It really was a great place to spend our time and Christmas break.
It was a wonderful house care. Maybe for improvement can add a small refrigerator in the rooms.

Beautiful and Clean, pity a place like Mali Mali can upset a persons Holiday... an event that was meant to be legendary! Mali Mali is not as per there website... they manipulate the internet!
The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.
Privacy!
The town is very small yet beautiful and neat. It has lots of tourist attractions and good place to visit, just to unwind!
