Agulhas Heights is situated at the end of the African continent, at the meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Agulhas Heights are three fully equipped self-catering cottages on the southernmost point in Africa.
Three beautiful self-catering cottages welcome you with sweeping 180-degree views of the ocean and coastline. Each cottage has two bedrooms and accommodates up to four people, in one twin room and one double room. The Cottages are fully equipped and are within walking distance of the shops and restaurants, and you can experience the unique adventure of eating inside a working lighthouse in Cape Agulhas.
The famous red and white Cape Agulhas Lighthouse was built in 1840 and were the third to be built on the South African coast, a design based on one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The lighthouse is today a National Monument with its own museum. Only a two-hour drive out of Cape Town, the beautiful and rugged landscape of the tip of Africa has been proclaimed a national park and is home to a diverse range of marine life as well as a breeding ground for the endangered African black oystercatcher.

Newly upgraded kitchens and very clean!
We had a lovely stay.
The cottages are neat and clean and has everything you could need.
We had stunning views over the ocean and mountains behind the cottage. The beds were comfortable and extra blankets were provided for the colder nights. Coy fireplace in the lounge and just an great experience overall. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Agulhas Heights. The view, cleanliness, layout, location, rates and everything was just perfect. Definitely highly recommended.
There are 3 free standing cottages up on a hill, which had an awesome view, and close to the lighthouse. We had booked 2 units, both were 4 sleeper. Only 1 of the two units had a fireplace which was useful as it was very cold at night.
The units were very clean and well looked after, although did not have modern appliances, but it suited our needs. The bedrooms were really nice, with good quality bedding and comfortable beds. Bathrooms a bit dated but very clean. It had braai area just outside kitchen. It did not have secure parking but the area appeared very safe though.
