This house is situated on Mar Azul private beach housing estate in Ponta Malongane. It is located on the beachfront row of houses. The house has 6 bedrooms, all en-suite (shower, toilet, and basin). Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms with king-size beds with annexed rooms each one with single bed bunk beds, and downstairs 4 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms have king-size beds, and 2 bedrooms have 2 double beds. Fresh linen provided. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have sea views, the 4 downstairs bedrooms face the sea and have views of the natural bush. This house sleeps a total of 16 people.

The house has its own private swimming pool.

There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, no air conditioning.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and open plan to the lounge/living room area. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric pan, 2 fridge/freezers, 1 deep freeze. The house has a TV and DSTV at an additional cost of R40 per day, if you wish to have this activated during your stay please let us know 2 weeks before your arrival.

There is a Weber braai, wood, or Charcoal that can be bought in Malongane Village.

The house shares a beach boardwalk with 2 other houses.

There is a laundry with a washing machine, you need to bring your washing powder with you. The house is serviced daily. There is 1 compulsory staff member and a second housekeeper is optional. The staff must be paid R70 per day, each.

You can buy all your provisions at Hluhluwe or Manguzi, including meat (great butchery at the bottom of Hluhluwe town). Manguzi is 10 km from the Kosi Bay border, there is a Spar Superette where you can buy dry and fresh food supplies.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

**Please be advised that you will need a 4x4 vehicle to gain access to the property due to the sandy roads.**

The swimming pool at this house has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk.

Kindly note when making use of suntan lotion please wash it off properly before using the towels and linen as it causes major stains that cannot be removed. (clients will be charged for stained items)

DSTV is available at R40 extra per day.

STAFF TIP
There is a full-time housekeeper at the house. Celeste's compulsory daily staff tip is R70 per day, this includes the day of your arrival and departure. If more than 10 people occupy the house a second housekeeper is brought in, and she needs to be paid R80 a day including the day of arrival and departure.
John is the gardener and also cleans the pool, braai, and outside area, there is no compulsory staff tip for him, however, a gratuity is always welcome.

REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT
A refundable breakage deposit of R4000 is payable 1 month before arrival and refunded within 14 days of departure.

EARLY And LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT
Late check-out is on request only. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, we will deduct the extra charge of R1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit, check out no later than 3 pm.

No pets are permitted. Loud music, parties, and functions will not be allowed. House rules in all Estates have a noise level cut-off of 10:30 pm. Should you not adhere to these rules the full breakage deposit will be retained.

Please take note that if you are booked in on Mar Azul Estate and have a boat, jet ski, or quad bike, you can park 1 in 2 places, see below:
Park at the security gate (bottom of the hill) R300 a day.
Park at the top of the hill (communal parking) - free
If you decide to park at the security gate then ensure that you have enough cash to pay for the parking on your departure date.

House Rules
To try and keep everyone safe and happy, please take note of some of our important.

House Rules:
The speed limit in the resort is 10km/hr.
Please respect the 10:30 pm noise restriction - Loud music is not much fun when you are not at the party.
No fireworks are allowed. Nearly all of our houses are made of wood and this could go horribly wrong.
No children under the age of 18 are allowed to ride a quad bike. (Please note that this is Mozambiquean law, not our rules).
No littering. We know this sounds obvious, but you would be amazed. And, we would appreciate it if you removed two pieces of rubbish from the beach each time you go.
No unattended open fires. Yip, we already said it, the houses are made of wood and we don't want to light up the sky.
There is a fish cleaning/gutting station near security. Please use this area so we can contain the smell and keep it clean so you don't get a fly in your drink.
For security reasons, all casual labour must be sourced via the Mar Azul Manager. No access card, no entry.
Guests must advise Security in advance of any visitors. If their name is not at Security, they will not be allowed access.
Abuse of the Security staff will not be tolerated. They are here to look after us, so please treat them with respect.
