The lodge is situated 13km north of Upington (En route to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The Lodge consists of 6 luxurious self-serve Chalets with air-conditioning, fully furnished, a swimming pool and camping facilities with very neat ablution blocks.

Upington is an ideal winter holiday destination with excellent facilities and beautiful countryside. The contrasts of the semi-desert reds with the emerald and olive greens of fertile vineyards are quite memorable! Linked by air and road to most parts of the country, the town is accessible, offers excellent accommodation and has a well-developed commercial infrastructure.

Beautiful spot close to town, ablutions and facilities were good and clean.

Stay was great, plenty hot water in the bathrooms but showers need a bit of an upgrade.
We had a wonderful stay at Kalahari Monate Lodge, the staff were very friendly and helpful, we will visit definitely again, it was peaceful and quiet, and overall just wonderful.

Great campsite, conveniently located for trips to/from Namibia/Kgalagadi. Exceptionally clean ablutions and nice facilities, including a swimming pool.

We camped for 1 night and also stayed in a chalet for 1 night. Very tranquil and pleasant environment. Ablution facilities as well as chalet were perfectly clean and neat. Chalet kitchen is well equipped. We can definitely recommend Kalahari Monate

Great weather. Stayed at Modern Executive Apartment in Schröder street. Beautiful, peaceful and safe place. I enjoyed the friendly people of Upington and the nice restaurants. Mr D also delivered promptly. Will be back again.
Has everything you'd need to top up or get on your way to Namibia, Botswana, or the far west coast. Amazing stat-over options, and amazing people.

The people seem friendlier and more polite than the city folks. The atmosphere seems relatively low-stressed.
Great mall and friendly people in Upington.
Upington is one of my favorite towns in South Africa. It is pristine, clean, people are friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do. Plenty accommodation to choose from. A perfect stop-over to and from Namibia.
Good to visit my birth town and see the growth.
