Ladybrand is a small predominantly agricultural town situated in the Motheo and Xhariep region of the Free State Province in South Africa. If you like run-of-the-mill hotels with boring accommodation and food then Heritage House is not for you. HH is different, odd, quirky, call it what you will. It is certainly one of a kind. The room was clean, comfortable, everything worked. The owners Donald and Charne have done a fine job making it what it is, and they are very friendly hosts. Dinner was suberb. Bear in mind that it is not a la carte - you need to tell them beforehand that you will be dining and if there is any food that you do not eat.
I would definitely stay there again.
