A mere hour and a half drive from Durban, half way on route to Hluhluwe, Mkuze and St. Lucia.

Great 'old school' hotel
Very willing and accommodating staff and lovely relaxing location.
But owner should consider:
1. Having 2 interleaving doors between room as is standard. We had a single door in our unit which meant we could hear the music next door at 4 o'clock in the morning! Also was not locked when we arrived.
2. Provide 2 outside and inside chairs instead of 1 of each. That was weird.
3. The kettle could not be filled from the bathroom tap as it didn't fit, so we had to fill it up from the shower, even weirder.
4. Dining room staff need to be trained (for example) to bring toast with your breakfast not before where it gets cold.
As so often the issues have to do with owner and management not staff.
That all said I would stay there again
