Come home to one of the most breathtaking views in Cape Town beneath the Bluegum trees on Signal Hill Nature Reserve. Situated close to City and Waterfront, yet remarkably quiet and peaceful. Panoramic views stretch all across Table Bay to Robben Island and Bloubergstrand as well as the 2010 World Cup Soccer Stadium. Tranquil pool deck with a sparkling salt water pool. We are in the upmarket residential suburb of Upper Green Point on the Atlantic Seaboard in Cape Town. Africa’s colourful history and warmth are reflected in our artistic decor, relaxed atmosphere and friendly hospitality. Alfresco breakfasts on the balcony in summer time. Free Wifi.

Bluegum Hill is ideally located for visitors to Cape Town?
2 minutes drive to South Africa's ?Mother City?, dating back to April 1652, markets, shops, restaurants, pubs, museums, the Castle and the famous Company Gardens.
5 minutes drive to the bustling V & A Waterfront.
10 minutes drive to majestic Table Mountain.
15 minutes drive to Cape Towns' famous Clifton and Camp?s Bay beaches.
Although we are not in short walking distance to the City and Waterfront - guests enjoy walking to the Waterfront, 30 minutes downhill by foot and City centre 20 minutes by foot.
Coming home by foot is rather tiring as it's uphill all the way back.
We do not advise walking at night and taxis are inexpensive and easily available.
There are many fine restaurants in the area - we can gladly book a variety of restaurants for our guests.
We will gladly help organize our guests' stay in our beautiful City and are able to recommend all the best options of what to see and where to go.
We have all the necessary info and maps here to plan with our guests, when they arrive.
Our generous alfresco breakfasts are served outside in good weather and complimentary refreshments are available all day.
We have a well stocked Honesty Bar with drinks and snacks.
Relax on our sundeck under shady bomas and swim in the sparkling salt water pool while taking in our magnificent views.

The rooms were sufficiently large and clean. The attention of the owner to the guests was excellent. Really great sea views.
The apartment was always cool, even though it was very hot outside.
Not far from the CTICC and the city center.

Bluegum Hill is the nicest 3 star guest house I have ever stayed at. The people are very nice and accomodating. The view of the new stadium and waterfront area is outstanding. Very conveniently located as well.

Easy access to everything, and many things only walking distance around to enjoy, including the promenade, Green Point Park, Virgin Active gym, V&A water front, Cape Town stadium, Long street and the Green Market square. also many great restaurants and coffee shops near by.
Best sleep I have had at a backpackers in years. Decor and staff are notably excellent. I will be back.
