Uniquely designed, luxurious rustic self-catering cottages, nestled on the bank of the Mlawula River. Newly built and very private cottages overlook the river onto the abundant forests beauty. The lodge has one of the most beautiful views as you sit on the deck watching the sunset. Fireflies magically light up along the river’s edge after dark.
Liphiva Bush Lodge is suitable for a couple or two singles. A breathtaking river frontage offers a romantic and tranquil setting. Well-lit Swazi stone pathways were specially crafted by a local team that leads you to our central boma area. The beautifully designed stone and intengu structure create a safe and cosy environment stacked with firewood and camp chairs. Here you can barbecue or "braai" around a bonfire underneath the stars. Our cottages are an excellent choice for an unforgettable romantic getaway.

The Liphiva Bush Lodge is an incredible private space with an excellent swimming pool and deck right by the river front. There are numerous walking trails through this great reserve with no dangerous animals except for a few crocodiles. It is a completely different experience to most game reserves and the freedom to walk or drive as the fancy took us was a big plus. We saw lots of animals both by car and on foot. The Lodge is totally secluded and is a real get away from it all in this little visited part of Swaziland. Everyone we met were super friendly and helpful. Totally 5 stars. You need to be prepared to self-cater for your entire stay as the only local shop was very limited in selection of food available.
