Welcome to The Boshoff,
The Boshoff offers elegantly styled, self catering accommodation in a choice of 5 different units/rooms - charged per person per night (NOT PER ROOM).
We are conveniently located within 2km of beautiful beaches in a quiet suburb of southern Durban. It is ideal for individual guests or couples visiting or traveling to Durban for business. Each of the units/rooms offer all of the facilities and features that will make any trip to Durban comfortable and memorable. (No functions)
Guest access: The Boshoff offers automated gated access entering onto a large paved, parking area or via a driveway to the units situated at the back of the property. Each unit includes free parking for 1 vehicle.
Other things to note:
* Accessibility at The Boshoff is an important aspect, considering that one of the owners is wheelchair bound.
* Physically The Boshoff Suite and The Corner King currently meet criteria for:
* Older and Less Mobile Guests
* Part Time Wheelchair Users
* Independent, physically strong wheelchair users
In its first phase the guesthouse currently offers the following accessibility elements:
* Automatic gates with access control
* Level parking area with ample parking space
* Level access into guesthouse
* Level interior – no steps or inclines
* Handles at accessible heights
* Taps with swing top handles in kitchen and bathrooms
* Smooth, tiled floors throughout
Terms and Conditions
Check in time: Strictly between 2-6pm
Check out time: No later than 10am
* Maximum of 1 or 2 guests allowed to book into The Boshoff Garden Cottage, The Boshoff Comfy Spot, The Boshoff Corner King, The Boshoff Compact Double or The Boshoff Suite - in accordance with the number of guests paid for per person.
* No additional guests are allowed on the property other than those present and signed in at check in. NO VISITORS WILL BE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
* No additional guests allowed to sleep over on the property including all of the accommodation options available at The Boshoff. Should any additional guests be found to have slept over on the property you will be fined at a premium rate of R600 per person per night.
* No parties or functions are permitted. Each room/unit/cottage has its own outdoor/patio area designed to accommodate the occupants of that accommodation option. It is therefore restricted to the occupants of each unit, ie. occupants of different units are not permitted to congregate together as a group.
* No loud noise.
* No noise after 10pm and before 6am.
* No music allowed to be played in car park or from car speakers.
* The suite/room/cottage must be left in the same condition as you found it at the time of check in. If not left in the same condition, a cleaning fee will be charged at check out.
* Check in is strictly between 2-6pm. Check in between 6-9pm is by prior arrangement of no less than 24 hours before check in and will incur a late check in fee of R250. No check in after 21h00 (no refunds issued).
* Check out is no later than 10am.

The Boshof mini is very clean, neat and welcoming, a perfect place to explore Durban without any hussles. It's within walking distance to some very quiet and exclusive beaches. I was so impressed on how the owner welcomed us . U know when visiting the place for the first, that feeling of finding the owner waiting for u, it's awesome. Thanx a lot!

The unit is very clean and smart. First time ever using a facility bath without doubt . Owner very nice.

Cleanliness and friendly, helpful staff. Close to restaurants and ocean.
Garvies surf house is the best guest house to stay during your visit. Me and my cousins enjoyed every moment, watching whales and dolphins through the window was the best memory. Shops are nearby. Very neat, quiet and friendly staff. I am definitely going there again for the third time.
