Gannaga Lodge is situated in 20 hectares of its own ground within the Tankwa National Park. It is located in some of the most spectacular countrysides in the Northern Cape, at the summit of the breathtaking Gannaga Pass. The Lodge lies 29 kilometres from Middelpos on the dirt road between there and Ceres. The lodge offers 11 comfortable rooms, situated in either the newly-restored Old Farmhouse or the converted Stable Block. It the only establishment offering B&B accommodation and restaurant facilities within the boundaries of the National Park. Unlike the Tankwa National Park, Gannaga Lodge does offer one self-catering accommodation.

Brilliant atmosphere and Great food.
The facilities were very clean and pleasant. The food excellent. The views stunning. The language of the host was very descriptive and highly colourful.
Gannaga Lodge was a lovely oasis on our trip through the Karoo. We were planning to stay one night, but got rained in, so stayed another night. The accommodation and facilities in the Blue House were great: a real farm house feel. Our 2 Yorkie's were very happy and were accepted everywhere except the dining room.

As we came over the Gannaga Pass and in the dark and saw the welcoming lights glowing in the dark I could sense the specialness of the lodge. Weary beyond speach, we skipped dinner and slept the sleep of angles under that brilliant starlit night. At breakfast we were met by Johann Gannaga and his delightful staff who phoned ahead to alert the Middlepos store we needed help with a puncture and petrol. What a delightful place.

Gannaga Lodge is worth staying at and provides exceptional value for money. It is well located, with stunning access (via the Gannaga Pass) to the Tankwa NP. The hostess is friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. Will do again! Leon and Elsa Kemp
Such a nice stay in the middle of the Karoo at Tankwa National Park. comfortable rooms.
We had a flat tyre and Johann helped us to solve this. People are friendly and quite helpful. We stayed another day, because of the nice surroundings.
What a wonderful time we had with Johan and staff during our stay. The beautiful scenery was good for the soul.
