Welcome to HOPETOWN KAREE Guesthouse.
Karee Guesthouse HAS NO MORE LOADSHEDDING!, and is a small, tranquil guesthouse situated in Hopetown, in the Northern Cape. Hopetown is almost halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town on the N12, which makes it the ideal stopover. The guesthouse is within walking distance from restaurants and businesses.
Accommodation is offered for long or short periods. The guesthouse offers 4 comfortable rooms namely: The North, North East, South, as well the South East Room. Each room can accommodate three guests however, a baby cot can be provided on request and an extra mattress for a child with an additional cost. Each room contains a double bed with a single or three quarter bed, as well as an en-suite bathroom. In-room facilities include:
a microwave, a toaster, air-conditioning, bedding and towels, DStv (Hotel Bouquet),WIFI and coffee and tea with Rusks.
BREAKFAST is served at an ADDITIONAL COST(Must be arranged in advance), or you can have breakfast at Cherry on top Café, just over the street.
There is safe and secure parking on the premises and guests can make use of the braai facilities as well as the veranda.
Pet friendly for well trained pets, however additional charge to be discussed with host.
Pets not allowed to sleep on the beds and guests to clean up after them.

Very neat and clean establishment.They have lights during loadshedding which was appreciated.The beds and linen are of good quality, everything was in order.
This guest house is very accommodating... I re-scheduled my employees stay and brought it forward by a week. There was no issues at all!! We also had a trailer loaded with Air-conditioners, and parking for the trailer too, was no issue. Ample parking was available.... The facilities are top notch, the people are friendly and their stay as a first time in Hope Town, was from the drawer. Thank you very, very much!
Not only was our Scottish terrier welcome, but there are birds in cages to view on the property. Room was basic, but comfortable enough.
Lovely green garden and comfortable room. Thank goodness for the air conditioning!
