The Venda Art Lodge is an authentic traditional village re-created by internationally renowned artist Noria Mabasa. This artistic wonderland of sculpted walls, seating areas, figures and entrances breathes the mystical spirit of Venda. Sleeps 8 sharing plus 1 single.
Sculpted sun-baked courtyards open up to en-suite African-style huts in our Venda Village Lodge.
The Luxury and Lavish suites offer a romantic and secluded stay with private plunge pools and patios overlooking the animals grazing on the plain below.
Hamasha Bush Camp offers self-catering accommodation for 6 people and is nestled in an amphitheatre of high cliffs, with magnificent views through the gorge to the north.

*Part of the Vhembe Biosphere Reserve and the Western Soutpansberg Conservancy, Leshiba has a high number of endemic species in a spectacular mountaintop environment.
*Leshiba is a unique reserve with an abundance of wildlife, including giraffes, the rare brown hyena, porcupines and leopards. Excellent birding with over 250 species, including Verreux and Crowned Eagle, Cape Vulture, Purple Crested Turaco. Be treated to an African Eden as all the animals gather on the plains in the early mornings and evenings.
*For an experience which reflects the soul of Africa, visit ancient rock art sites, walk along the marked trails over open plains or under dense canopies of indigenous forest or hike down rocky gorges, join a game drive, or guided walk within our hidden valley.

We had an amazing stay at Hamasha Bush camp after an initial Rocky start... We were told we would have no trouble getting there using our Kia sportage but had to turn back half way up the mountain. Thankfully they fetched us. Joyce was incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here longer in future. The views are incredible and the camp is very well equipped. Absolutely lovely.
We stayed at Leshiba for the fourth time and the place was as magical as ever. Beautiful, well equipped cottages, fantastic sceneries and lovely staff. Best place to relax. The beds, however, are not very comfy and pretty short. But who needs sleep anyway.
Being on the top of the Soutpansberg, H12 Leshiba (and other farms on the mountain) is different to other game reserves in South Africa. The flora is amazingly diverse and the game plentiful. Management and staff go out of their way to make the stay most memorable. It is a magical place.
Stayed at Hamasha Bush Camp which was far nicer than we expected. We had the place to ourselves and it's one of the loveliest places in the bush that can be imagined. Three well maintained and cozy cottages with a nice big fire/braai area outside, great views and walks/hikes, VERY peaceful. Lovely hosts Joyce and Lucas. NB no electricity there.
