The Kalahari Game Lodge (KGL) is a luxury private game farm situated next to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park on the south-eastern boarder of Namibia. A mere 18 km west of the Mata-Mata border post. Making it easily accessible for not only visitor to Namibia, but also those visiting South Africa.
The KGL has eight luxury chalets with beautiful views of the Auob river. For the more adventurous, there are six secluded campsites in the Auob riverbed. (NB Note: Due to rate structure changes bookings from 1 November 2023 to 28 February 2025 will only be available with enquiries made directly at the lodge at email: reservations@kalaharigamelodge.com until further notice)
The lodge comprises of eight luxury chalets equipped with en-suite bathrooms, ceiling fan, aircon, mosquito net, safe, hairdryer and small kitchenette with seating area and tea and coffee making facility.
Each chalet boasts a private patio with idyllic views of the dry Auob riverbed and the dunes beyond.
For the more adventurous visitors, Kalahari Game Lodge boasts six exclusive campsites located in the picturesque Auob riverbed. These campsites are widely spread and approximately 100 meters apart. Each is equipped with private ablution facilities, lighted by solar (own lighting advised) and the water heating system is a wood-fired donkey boiler. Housekeeping attends to each campsite daily.
Area Information:Kalahari Game Lodge is situated on the South-Eastern border of Namibia, close to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and only 18km from Mata-Mata. Set on the picturesque C15 road in the Karas region. It covers approximately 40 000 ha.

Property Facilities:The Kalahari Game Lodge has a beautiful, fully licensed restaurant where visitors can enjoy an inclusive breakfast and an optional dinner. Light lunches are also available with pre-bookings only.

Attractions:Kalahari Game Lodge has open vehicle game drives all year round. There are three trips to choose from - the Scenic Game Drive, Sundowner Drive and Lion Tracking experience.
