Situated on the slopes of Paarl Mountain in the heart of the Cape Winelands
With our heartfelt Winelands hospitality, Paarl Mountain Lodge gives a warm welcome to international and local tourists, adventurers as well as corporate travelers from South Africa and abroad. Enjoy your breakfast, of a selection of cold or hot options, indoors or on a well-positioned outdoor deck whilst enjoying the sun rising over the majestic mountains. After an exciting day of sightseeing or a day of hard work, enjoy a glass of complementary wine on our sundeck overlooking the Franschhoek and Du Toitskloof mountain ranges.
This accompanied by a beautiful vista across the neighbouring wine farm.
* Each room has the option of either Twin beds or a King Size bed.
* All rooms are en-suite with both a bath and shower or shower only.
Paarl Mountain Lodge is situated in the Cape Winelands, close to the historic Franschhoek and spectacular Stellenbosch. We have easy access to the N1 and are close to all the major attractions of our beautiful town.
In Cape Town you will find Table Mountain, one of the 7 Wonders of the Natural World, the world renowned Victoria and Alfred Waterfront as well as the Two Oceans Aquarium and a wide assortment of other activities to keep you entertained.
Property Facilities:Other facilities include secure parking inside the property behind gates, access to a sparkling pool as well as a private outside enterance to your room. Braai facilities available on request.

* Butterfly World:- Home to many exotic butterflies and other animals
* Drakenstein Lion Park:- Here lions have been rescued from captivity all around the world and placed in their natural habitat.
* Paarl Mountain nature reserve:- A haven to all nature lovers, with hiking trails, mountain bike trails, and the opportunity to walk/climb/scramble up the famous granite rock that gives Paarl its name. At least 15 species of Protea are found on these mountains and a selection is grown in a well laid out garden which you can walk through. In addition to there a vast variety of fynbos wild olives and an assortment of indigenous trees and shrubs can be viewed in their natural environment
* Le Bonheur crocodile farm with its own restaurant as well as guided tours allow the visitor to gain a fresh understanding of these ancient reptiles.
* Two famous and world class golf courses are found in Paarl.
* Records show that golf was first played in Paarl in 1880. The Paarl Golf Club (which later became Boschenmeer) was established in 1908. Boschenmeer Golf Club offers a selection of 27 holes. Each 9 has its own special character and challenges and the “Extra 9 holes” ensures that even on competition days it is often possible to get in a social game.
* Pearl Valley Golf Course is a Jack Niclause signature course. Under his management this course was laid out to provide both challenges and rewards to professionals and amateurs alike. Since its opening this course has continually been rated in the top 10 of South African Golf courses and has hosted the SA Open on a number of occasions.

The best place I've ever stayed at! Everything from the view to the staff has met and succeeded my expectations. The rooms are comfortable and the hostess treats you like royalty and family. A home away from home. Would definitely recommend and I look forward to my next visit!

Best hospitality we have experienced in a very long time.
People go out of their way to accommodate you with the simplest things.
Loved the following places with helpful and friendly staff contributing to an a-lister experience-
Nine Oaks- beautiful venue with a little shop, restaurant and bar area on site. We stayed here for 4 nights and it really is a little hidden gem.
Spice Route- as always we had an amazing experience with the most beautiful views, charcuterie and cheese boards, wines, spices and beer and cider tastings. So much to do in so little time.
Bellaire Pavillion- stunning venue. Beautiful views! Lush green! Variety of little hidden gems all rolled into one venue. If we had more time I would've explored the venue more to see what else it had to offer ♡
Picardie- 5 star experience. Read the review. Nuff said ♡♡♡♡♡
Fairview- Have been to Fairview before. Love the Goats at the entrance. Love the Goatshed restaurant- we had breakfast there- we had the best muesli and yoghurt we have ever had!!! Even if you are not a great fan of a cold breakfast- try it- it might convert your tastebuds!
I have to also give a shout out to all the little local bars we visited- we felt part of the local crowd in no time.
Black Steers Kitchen- wow- what a stunning view and once again accommodating us so last minute to share a bit of what you had to offer to end off our travels on a high note before going for one last Hooray to...

The Spice Route is definitely a plus. But the town itself has some stunning spots. There are open green parks along the river which are perfect for picnics, and there are ample shops and restaurants to enjoy.
