Cape Town

Cape Town is a great city where you can see a lot. There are a lot of nice areas to go to, so there is Green Point, Sea Point, Camps Bay and many more. Hereby some a list of some of our favourites:

Villa Helderberg has a very beautiful large garden with a very large pool with a lounge part, called Lapa.

One of our favourite wine estates is Lourensford. It's a lovely estate situated in Somerset West and the wines are delicious. In the Wine Tasting Centre all current vintages are available for sampling, can be partnered with a lovely cheese platter or for the sweet tooth, indulge in a chocolate tasting with hand-made Chocolates by Tomes and little shot glasses filled with honey liqueur. Other attractions on the farm include a visit to the Coffee Roasting Company where coffee is freshly ground to order.

This is one of the many reasons why we serve Lourensford wines at Villa Helderberg and we also serve their coffee. So we are sure that our visitors are getting the best wine and the best coffee.

Of course we can also arrange a wine tasting for you at Lourensford, but we can also arrange a private wine tasting at Villa Helderberg partnered with some nice food.

Lourensford Wine Estate is open daily.
In Somerset West lies the wine estate Vergelegen. This wine house has been there since 1700. It’s very a large wine estate where you can go for wine tasting or to have a lunch or a Pique Nique.
