Welcome to Royal Hotel Willowmore.
The Royal Hotel is rich in history, tradition and olden day charm. The hotel is located in Willowmore and ideal for tired travelers looking for a comfortable stay.
There are 12 rooms, of which 4 are en-suite. The rooms are each furnished with double or single beds, tea- and coffee-making facilities and fan or heater depending on the season.
There is a restaurant serving breakfast, afternoon and evening drinks and a bar that lets travelers and locals return again and again. There are also braai facilities available.
The large dining room leads out on a green lawn which is perfect for a wedding venue.
The village Willowmore is located near the entrance of the Baviaanskloof nature reserve and trips can be arranged on request. The old Blackstone power station, which until 1984 provided the town of electricity, is open to visitors. There are many historical buildings, some dating back to the 19th century.

Room excellent food better than excellent
A group of 6 stayed one night. It was a trip down memory lane for 2 if the group 1 of whom lived in Willowmore in the 1960’s. We did not know what to expect and were overwhelmed by by the hospitality of staff and charm of the establishment. The meals served were outstanding considering it was prepared during a electricity outage.
Any Visit to the hotel and the "Laaste Water Gat" bar at the Royal Hotel is an awesome experience. The food is tasty and the smiles and service from two people at the Hotel leave an impression always and they are Lorna the General Manager and Trudie the bar manager. Both of these woman run circles in capability compared to some of the other staff there. Always friendly and willing to assist the visitors comfortable stay or stopover. I will return every time as long as these friendly folk are present .
We really enjoyed our stay! Hosts were friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom clean and neat. Food in dining room was good. Will recommend the hotel to friends and family! 😀😀
