Remotely located outside of Paterson, Ikwanitsha Lodge offers accommodation in private atmosphere. The lodge has four chalets, surrounded by the african bush which are overviewing the Bushmans River and its valley.
Enjoy pure nature on the 300ha property where you can explore the native vegetation and the lodge's wildstock, including zebras, ostrich and antelopes.
Our four chalets built on wooden poles offers a spectacular view over the adjoining valley, the Bushmans River and the foothills of the Zuurberg mountains. Every unit comfortably accommodates 2 adults with a Queensize bed and is equipped with a kitchenette, tea-and-coffee making facilities, as well as a microwave and fridge.
Area Information:In close proximity of the Addo Elephant National Park and other private game reserves like Schotia Safaris, Ikwanitsha is the perfect exploration base for safaris and other day trips.
Property Facilities:In our Bushbar we'll serve you a rich breakfast and on request a typical South African cuisine for dinner and small snacks for in between. Besides the bar and dining area it offers cozy sitting areas and a spacious patio, where you can relax and enjoy a sundowner cocktail after an exciting day.
Attractions:Besides Addo Elephant National Park and other Game Reserves, you can visit Daniell Cheetah Breeding Project and learn about the big cats or get an adrenaline rush at Addo Adrenaline's ZipLine and giant swing.
