*** Beautiful beaches: Barra beach is known for its beautiful beaches and warm turquoise waters. The water temperature is lovely all year round from 29 degrees in the summer to 22 degrees in the winter. Water visibility can be up to 40 metres deep, dropping down to 9 metres when the plankton bloom.

*** Whale sharks: July brings the start of the Whale Season to Mozambique, with the best time to see the whales being from August – October.
