At Zeekoe Lodge we offer our valued guests a true African experience. Situated on a bend of unexpected, lush beauty of the Vaal River - the ideal destination for the avid fisherman, lover of nature or any person looking to escape the hustle & bustle of the city. The Lodge is 15min from Vanderbijlpark (GAUTENG) and 70 km South of Johannesburg. Zeekoe Lodge currently has 4 x self catering units available for guests to choose from.

OPTION 1 - LUXURY TENT HOUSE:
Our luxury tent house is situated on the banks of the Vaal river. Here, guests can enjoy a full frontal view of the river, in all of its glory.

Guests also have the privilege to enjoy nature at its VERY BEST, from the comfort of the unit's spacious deck-area.

This self catering tent sleeps 2 people (unit is fitted with a queen size bed).

The bathroom-area is complete, with shower, vanity and toilet.

The kitchenette is fully equipped with a 2 plate gas stove, mini fridge, microwave, kettle and basic utensils.

Spacious patio with corner breakfast nook, weber braai, two sun Loungers.

OPTION 2 - RIVER COTTAGE:
Our river cottage is a self catering; cozy 3 bedroom cottage. Each bedroom of the cottage is fitted with a double bed.

Two bedrooms of the cottage walks out onto the braai/deck area of the cottage. Perfect and ideal to enjoy sundowners (or a morning coffee), while watching the fish & river animals play, right at your doorstep.

An outside braai/boma area is also available for our river cottage - the perfect place for a bond fire, breathtaking views and memories to be made.

The unit has a lovely open plan kitchen (fitted with fridge/freezer, microwave, 4 plate gas stove & kettle) and lounge-area. A wonderful added feature to the lounge, is the indoor fireplace, which works really well for the winter months of the year.

The unit also has a breakfast/dining room-area, with sufficient space for a group or family of 6 x people to enjoy breakfast or even lunch together.

The River cottage has 2 bathrooms( one on-suite)

OPTION 3 - ROCK COTTAGE:
The Rock cottage is the quaint & danty (self catering) addition to the Zeekoe Lodge Family.

It is the perfect choice for a close, small group of friends or a small family of 4 x people.

The unit consists of 2 x spacious rooms, each fitted with a double bed.

The main, en suite, room walks out onto the deck/braai-area of the unit. The perfect setting to enjoy your morning coffee or the perfect sundowner - with a spectacular view from your front porch. Added feature to the lounge is the indoor fireplace which works really well for the winter months of the year.

The Rock cottage has a quaint little kitchen (fitted with fridge/freezer, microwave, gas stove & oven, kettle and basic cooking utensils) and breakfast nook.

The cottage boasts with an additional bathroom in the unit, fully functional with a shower, basin and toilet.

A cozy lounge area in the unit is deemed to be the perfect family setting for an enjoyable glass of wine or a comfortable chat.

OPTION 4 - FAMILY HOUSE:
The family house is a marvelous (double story) 8 x sleeper, self catering unit.

This unit is a PERFECT match for your next family reunion or just to house a large, extensive family or group of friends.

The unit has 3 x spacious bedrooms downstairs, as well as a spacious loft bedroom (upstairs).

The main (and secondary) bedrooms of the family house are both fitted with queen size beds. These bedrooms are both en-suite, each with shower, basin & toilet.

The third bedroom, downstairs, is fitted with 2 x single beds. Perfect for kids or single persons. The nice thing about this room ,is that it's also en-suite, with its own shower, basin & toilet.

Each room downstairs come with their own built in cupboards, perfect for own private hanging/storing space.

There is also a separate, communal bathroom downstairs, complete with a bath, toilet & basin.

The (upstairs) Loft-room of the unit is separate & private from the rest of the house and boasts with spectacular views from the river.

The fully functional (open plan) kitchen of the unit is also downstairs and is fully equipped to serve in any avid cook's needs. There is a fully functional stove installed in the unit, a fridge/freezer, toaster & kettle, cooking utensils, as well as a wide variety of serving bowls, dishes and cutlery.

The open plan lounge-area walks out onto the deck-area of the unit, from where spectacular views of the property can be admired.

The deck-area leads onto a spacious boma area, where family and friends can get together at night by the cozy fireplace.

ALTHOUGH OUR FAMILY HOUSE CAN SLEEP 8 X ADULTS COMFORTABLY, WE DO HAVE ADDITIONAL SPACE FOR FOUR (4) X ADDITIONAL GUESTS (IN THE COMMUNAL LOFT AREA). ANY ADDITIONAL GUESTS ARESUBJECT TO ADDITIONAL CHARGES. WE THEREFORE URGE YOU, OUR VALUED GUEST, TO PLEASE ENQUIRE WITH YOUR HOST(S), WITH REGARDS TO THESE ADDITIONAL CHARGES!**
