Melanie's place is simply stunning! Beautifully located on top of the dunes, overlooking Tofo beach with beautiful nature around. The place is very nicely decorated and Melanie is an amazing and super friendly host!

Absolutely Amazing!!!! Just spent the most wonderful week in Tofo at Dave’s house! I’m already missing the beach in our backyard and the cool breeze coming off the sea. Dave was a great host, super friendly and helpful. The house is literally on the beach, beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. If you’ve ever fantasized about living on the beach or having a bohemian “life less ordinary” this is definitely the house you’ve envisioned in that fantasy. If you’re visiting Tofo I highly recommend staying here, you’d really be missing out if you don’t!

This was a beautiful place to stay and very quiet except for the crashing of the waves. This house and access to the beautiful beach was excellent, and we really enjoyed the restaurants in Tofo.

This is such a beautiful place. Amazing location right on the beach, walking distance (ten minutes barefoot along the beach) to all amenities and restaurants in Tofo town, yet far enough away that the beach is secluded and quiet. The house is beautifully built and decorated, with lots of natural light and a good sense of space. Melanie was abroad while we visited, but we were in great hands with Aaron, her friend, who made sure everything ran smoothly. If and when we return to Tofo, we'll undoubtedly stay here again.

Pura Vida is a special place with an unbelievable setting and a panoramic view over the whole bay. It’s in a quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of Tofu centre but close enough to walk to town. The house is small but perfect for our family of four. Everything was clean and neat and of good quality . The garden is indigenous and from what I saw was by far the best in Tofu! The outdoor bathroom was different and fun. Dave was friendly helpful and attentive. We loved our stay.

Melanie and Dave are great host. Very helpful information about things to do and where to buy and how much to pay. It was nice to be in a place that the kitchen had everything and the knives are sharp. No issues any question we're quickly answered. The Casa was far enough from Tofo not to be hassled by beach vendors to much. Was great being on the beach and able to watch the children from the Casa.

Paradise in a not generally known resort beach. If you want to experience something different this is the best place to stay. Awesome location in front of the main beach, Beautiful Interior and well equipped amenities. The place is luxurious but still wild, connected to the beautiful nature. One of my favorite places so far where I would rather keep it my very own secret!

We fell in love with Melanie's house on the beach. We spent 2 days but it deserved a lot more! Melanie and Dave were always smiling and very helpful. Recommended!

An absolute gem! It's BETTER that the photos on the site. STUNNING sea view, right ON the beach. Beautiful, comfortable cottage ideal for anyone who loves the beach and sea. Wake up to the sunset. A short walk to the village, but just far enough away to be free from too much hustle and bustle. Near awesome surf spots. Our hosts, Mel and Dave could not have been more accommodating and caring. Good job guys!! We'll be back.
