Welcome to St Lucia Wilds Flatlet.
The Affordable Flatlet is unique as it is part of a century old house converted into individual units, each with own entrance and not sharing. Some of the original features of the house is still in use. This is not an upmarket perfect space, but rustic and easy. It is well equipped, functional, crafty with old and new furniture and finishes. Lots of windows with a scattered view of swimming pool and garden.
Entrance has 6 steps (building is elevated) into an open space with dining table and lounge area, lounge chairs and couch(also single beds). To the left is the kitchen area and bathroom entrance. Bathroom has a curtained shower and toilet and basin (small space). The kitchen is very well equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The bedroom is through the lounge with a standard double bed and 2 single stack beds for children, a basin and lots of closet. Ceiling fan in the bedroom and lounge area. A bush braai a few meters from the unite in the garden. NO TV.
Located in the main street away from the busy town centre, still within walking distance to shops. Set in a natural, tranquil garden setting. The communal path to the pool leads past the door.
The garden is visited by Vervet monkeys, Banded mongoose, buck, tree squirrels, many birds and sometimes the hippos at night. Owner family is also living on the property.
St Lucia Wilds has an in-house Art Gallery and offers (sells)art and craft projects to do whilst enjoying the garden or inside craft room as well as our home baked cake and coffee.
Flatlet (apartment type) is standard, comfortable and homely, very well equipped, clean and neat. We prefer non-smokers. Regret no groups of fishermen, ladies only or team building, rowdy unruly behavior. This is not a party (no own music) venue.Owner family also lives on site.

We went to St Lucia Villa Mia 5 to recover after operation. Absolutely beautiful place. Our own private braai area right at pool. Due to my medical condition we could not go out but our hosts arranged food delivery for us from nearly all the restaurants in St Lucia. One night there was guests that were intoxicated and loud. We informed our hosts who in return got the caretaker at the property in minutes and he resolved the issue. Will definitely book again. Thanks to the workers at Villa Mia that were always willing to run and get us something we needed in town. It felt like home and we will always remember our trip. Next time we will definitely visit all the attractions that St Lucia has to offer.
