Siesta B&B is run by Rex & Cato Duke who have had over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry and happily cater for guests from all walks of life.
Rex is a highly experienced nature & history guide and is happy to assist guests with the information they may require. Battlefield tours can be arranged with him as he specialises in the 1879 Zulu War, with special emphasis on the Battles of Ulundi, Hlobane, Kambula and Intombi Drift.
In Room Facilities:We have five well comfortable rooms with en-suite bathrooms, all with showers, one with a king-size bed, two with double beds and two with twin single beds.
Complimentary coffee & tea trays are supplied.
Area Information:Vryheid is situated in the Battlefields of Kwa-Zulu Natal this tranquil landscape of northern KwaZulu-Natal was once the focal point of major military engagements, where Zulu, Boer and British forces fought in deadly conflicts that have shaped South Africa to the rainbow nation it is today.
