Welcome to AfriCamps at Mackers!
This stunning, self-catering boutique glamping tent offers a lounge, dining area, spacious wooden deck, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have a queen-size bed and one, an additional single bunk bed.
The AfriCamps boutique glamping experience is a great alternative to standard holidays in B&B’s, hotels or self-catering units and offers international and local travellers a boutique glamping experience without the added pressure of packing your own camping gear, limited space and uncomfortable beds. Our in-house designed and custom-made 55m2 tents are fully furnished and equipped with a private kitchen, lounge, en-suite bathroom (with private shower and toilet), two comfy bedrooms (with real beds for five), a fireplace, air-conditioning and a wooden deck to relax and unwind on.

What a pleasant experience! I am a first time camper and was really pleased at the cleanliness, safety and beauty of the campsite. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and organized. I wish I was told about the steep going down to the mountain though since we used a Sedan, but I guess "down by the river" means just that. It was a very pleasant and adventurous experience.

This breakaway was the perfect fit for our family of five! The tents are spacious, well-designed and overall amazing. We spend quality time swimming, hiking, fishing and just lazing around enjoying the beautiful sound of the river! Everything was comfortable, clean and "just enough". I have already recommended this little sanctuary to family and friends - if you are looking to relax and get away from the hustle of the daily rat-race, this is the perfect place to be. We loved EVERY second and would like to make it a new family tradition to go back as often as possible!!
