Waterford Holiday Home is a self-catering holiday home located in Witsand, a quaint village situated at the mouth of the Breede River, in the Western Cape. It is known for having the highest concentration of Southern Right Whales on the South African coast, and offers 4 km of white sandy beaches, magnificent Cape fynbos, and a myriad of water sports including fishing, kite surfing.
The simple beach style house can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a double bed, while the second bedroom contains 2 single beds. Both bedrooms feature an en-suite bathroom.
The showers are not suitable for extra large people and the stairs are quite steep - so are not suitable for elderly people.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a stove, oven, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with stools. The dining area has seating space for 4 people, while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and a large fireplace. The living area opens up onto a lovely patio area with braai facilities and overlooks the river.

The amazing Breede River, wild beaches, calm sand banks and majestic dunes are beautiful. Big sky's and peace and quiet. The Whale capital of SA.
A very unique place to visit.
We were at Barry's Guest house, everything was great, we had lots of fun and enjoyed the stay but the owners was a bit uptight the next morning after the next day , and the attitude AAAAg!
