Groenriviersmond Accommodation is situated about 60 kms west
of Garies and 3 kms from the South entrance of the Namaqua National Park.
Garies is situated along the N7 Highway and is renowned for it's
massive display of Spring wildflowers. Garies is considered as one
of the main tourism centers during Spring time.

There isn’t really anywhere else to stay at Groenriviermond if you want to see the coastal flowers, unless you camp in the coastal area of the Namaqua national park, so despite the unusual nature of this accommodation it is worth spending a couple of nights here during flower season.
