Nibbana Farm, the Manor House and the adjoining outhouses have been completely restored in the last years. Each room is tastefully decorated in its own style and equipped with everything you need. We offer cottages. The manor house is available on request. A family cottage (sleeps 6) and a studio is being built as we speak and will be available by the end of 2018 This is self-catering at its very best. Welcome to Nibbana Farm!
In Room Facilities:The four separate cottages adjacent to the Manor House include two one-bedroom cottages and two spacious studios. All cottages are equipped with a kitchenette and have their own bathrooms. Staying in any of the cottages with their different decorative themes is a memorable experience!
Area Information:The beautiful little town of Tulbagh is one of the oldest in South Africa. It is well worth a visit to enjoy the charming Cape Dutch cottages along Church Street. The Tulbagh Wine Route with its many estates and private cellars offer tastings of their internationally acclaimed and award-winning wines.
Property Facilities:While staying at Nibbana Farm you must also explore the surroundings. For the active sporty guest we suggest a hike to our very own waterfall, running or walking along the various trails, a ride along the mountain bike trails or perhaps a zip line adventure in Ceres. Or just take a stroll and enjoy the bird life, the sheep and lambs and our free roaming chicken.
Attractions:*The historic town of Tulbagh is one of the best places to study Cape Dutch architecture. The beautiful white-washed houses with characteristic rounded gables and thatched roofs along Church Street attract visitors from all over the world.
*The area around Nibbana Farm is fantastic for horse riding. Tulbagh Horse Trails offers rides for beginners as well as more advanced riders. Combine with a picnic, wine-testing or sunset views of the valley for a really memorable experience!
*Tulbagh, surrounded by mountains on three sides and with the cool winds sweeping in from the south is ideal for viticulture. Visit some of the world famous cellars while in the area: Drostdy-Hof, Manley, Saronsberg, Rijks, just to name a few.

What a wonderful piece of heaven! Beautiful, peaceful, tranquil. Our cottage lacked nothing and was tastefully decorated. Our hosts were superb, even delivering fresh eggs to our door. The Secret Garden.... WOW, unsurpassed beauty.. what a gem! Our hike afforded us the most beautiful views of Wolsely. My partner and I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing getaway and the bonus... only an hour and a half from Cape Town. Will definitely be back (but the Manor House is on our bucket list for our next visit).
What a fabulous piece of tranquility. Beautifully laid out and the secret garden and Pizza oven was just the best place to sit and share . Can't wait to go back - make sure you go for a minimum of 3 days! So much to fit in. Cycle, Yoga, hike, paddle, walk, chill, wine, dine, read and share.
We had a wonderful weekend, a tranquil holiday . One the surprising parts of our stay was to visit The garden , I chose this accommodation as it seemed have a unique experience which we loved !

Our second visit and certainly not the last. So much to do and see!
Scenery
Wine, scenery, sunset
Beautiful, historic and quaint little town. Stroll down church street and have a roosterkoek at Kole & Deeg. Highly recommend the Gin Yard at Vindoux wine farm. The Spar gets ridiculously busy on long weekends so rather come prepared unless you want to stand in line for 30 mins. The Tulbagh Nursery is awesome if you’re into gardening and plants. And take the Bain’s Kloof pass if you want a beautiful scenic route!
The quaint town, the beautiful scenery, the olive tasting.
Everything!
Wine, the history side.
We found Tulbagh to be close enough to Cape Town for a quick weekend away with family & friends.
Clean town with stunning wine farms, wine tasting and lovely restaurants.
Very picturesque with great hiking, mountain biking trails.
Lots of convenient shops in the town.
Can't wait for our next visit.
We loved our Sunday lunch at Tulbagh Hotel and Champagne tasting at Krone.
We went to Essere lodge for a weekend and loved it! Have done many wine tastings at the surrounding farms, love going there often.
