Situated in 2.5 acres of tropical gardens, Sunbird Lodge is the perfect place to relax and let your stress melt away. Laze by the swimming pool, sit under one of our Lapa’s with a drink from the bar or take in the gardens at night looking at the stars, you can do as much or as little as you want. We are a family run business with the emphasis firmly on good quality and friendly service. As a member of Birdlife South Africa, bird lovers will be in their element, with a wide variety of different bird species in the gardens. Laze by the swimming pool, sit under one of our Lapa’s with a drink from the bar or take in the gardens at night looking at the stars, you can just unwind and let your stress melt away.

The place is so good, from the the owner Dave and the staff in general. Their service was superb, the rooms are so big and clean, the garden so nice and green. Wish to visit again and again, I really enjoyed my stay at Sunbird.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found that we had absolutely everything that we needed. The rooms were clean. Dave was extremely friendly and helpful which made you feel very comfortable.
We stayed there overnight, our room had everything we needed, very clean and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. We will definitely stay there again.
My trip was very good, thank you for asking. We took a single day trip no longer three days vacation.

Perfect stay, good services and really very,very nice and helpful owners. I would recommend Sunbird to anyone. Better than to stay into the Kruger!!!

Service was good. Host was friendly and rooms were clean and tidy. Loved the white linen!! Other B & B's could take tips from this lodge.
I will go back again with no hasitation, before the end of this year. 2010

It was nice staying at the lodge and reception was good and they rooms was nice and easy to stay accommodated with all facility that you may need in a Lodge
We did have a nice stay at Sunbird Lodge and we even promised the owner to re-visit the place agai as it was nice staying with them.

We spent a very enjoyable night at the Sunbird, after spending the day in Kruger National Park. We found the owners to be very friendly, even suggesting an excellent restaurant for dinner. The breakfast the next morning consisted of cereal, juice, coffee, eggs (to order) sauage and toast. Nice place, quiet setting :-)
