We offer reasonably priced lodging and wholesome breakfasts described as a "total treat". Our rooms are cozy with a variety of accommodation available, from en suite bedrooms to self catering family units. Our breakfasts, which are optional, are served in the dining room or on the balcony overlooking the garden.
In Room Facilities:All rooms have TV with a Openview bouquet, and a fridge, microwave, as well as tea/coffee facility. Some units are fully equipped for self-catering. Wi-fi is available on a daily limit. All bedding and towels are supplied. Unfortunately pets cannot be accommodated. All rooms have outside entrances.
Area Information:George is located in the Cape Wildflower Floral Kingdom next to the coast at the eastern end of the Western Cape Province and has a temperate climate and activities to keep you busy all year round.
George is at the center of Nature's 'Garden Route' and nestles at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains. Our airport connects you to and from all the main centers in South Africa and main roads and rail, link with the Klein Karoo hinterland.
This is an ideal place to begin your holiday.
For the golfer, tourist, holidaymaker or business person there are many enjoyable activities on our doorstep. From Plettenberg Bay to Mossel Bay there are many quality golf courses, with the top courses being situated right across the road from alpine Inn, at Fancourt Golf Estate. There are beautiful beaches, organized fishing trips or whale watching, as well as hiking trips, kloofing, horse riding or paragliding for the more adventurous. Oudtshoorn, famous for it's Cango Caves is a scenic drive 50 km away over the Outeniqua Pass. For dining-out enthusiasts the local restaurants are a treat. George is well situated to accommodate everyone's preferred holiday.

My overnight stay at Alpine Inn was very nice....its very peaceful yet fun place to stay. The cabins/rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable.
Udo is a great host. You come as a tourist and leave as a friend. I hope that I will make it and come visiting again. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated with love. Was great meeting you Udo, thanks for all. Take care Klaus
