Off Beat Bush Lodge is an authentic, eco-friendly getaway. The camp is situated along the banks of a seasonal river that runs through the farm, surrounded by pristine vegetation. Although there are no resident Big 5 animals on the property, it borders the Greater Kruger National Park and you may see or hear them on adjoining reserves.
The lodge is run entirely on solar lighting, lanterns and gas with individual lights in the cabins. Each unit has its own open-style outside bathroom with running water and conventional toilets. Hot water is provided in the traditional bush method with a heated donkey boiler that supplies to all the showers. Situated close to the decked bar area is a refreshing splash pool, ideal for those hot summer days. A shaded, secretive hide overlooks a popular waterhole, providing great game viewing.
A fully equipped kitchen including refrigeration and gas stove compliments the ambiance of this secluded hideaway. There are braai areas for those who love cooking around an open fire. Although electricity is not available in the camp, there is the opportunity to charge cameras and phones during the day by means of a small generator.
Please note that the bar is not operational or stocked, it is, however available for use.
Off Beat Safaris is approximately 12 km north of the town of Hoedspruit in the renowned Limpopo Province of South Africa. The game farm is situated amongst the private reserves that make up the Greater Kruger National Park with the majestic Northern Drakensberg Mountain Range forming the visual background.

The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.
Privacy!
The town is very small yet beautiful and neat. It has lots of tourist attractions and good place to visit, just to unwind!
