Arend Cottage is a self-catering cottage located in the town of Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. Nestled in the fertile valley of the Crocodile River, Nelspruit boasts abundant sunshine, moderate sub-tropical climate, lush landscape, a host of nearby attractions and acts as the gateway to Mpumalanga and Kruger National Park.
The cottage accommodates 6 adults or 4 adults with 3 children in 2 bedrooms with one bathroom to share. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed while the loft room has twin single beds and a low, child-friendly double bed. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower, wash basin & toilet.
The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering while the lounge offers comfortable seating, a TV and DSTV and free WIFI.
Every room, the living area and stoep has fans for those hot Nelspruit days.
The cottage is next to the main house with its own separate entrance and parking space. Ample parking space is available and the cottage has its own security system.
We are situated in a residential area and are right next to one of Nelspruit`s small nature reserves, so its very peaceful and quite.
Load Shedding:
* We have a generator that are in use during the periods of load shedding.
* Our Wifi is battery operated so you can still access the internet even though the electricity is off.
* A gas system is used to supply hot water at all times.
Nearby attractions include Sudwala Caves, Nelspruit Golf Club, Lowveld National Botanical Garden, Chimp Eden and Emnotweni Casino. The unit is within easy reach of hospitals, airport and various amenities.

What a fantastic home away from home! From the moment I booked to the time I checked out Salmien was available and made my stay the most comfortable stay. I wish I could have stayed for longer. The privacy, the space, the beautifully appointed cottage. I loved every moment I stayed there.

Weather is nice
Me and four ladies stayed at Leaves the past weekend from the 30th till the 2nd May 2021, bookings were done by Vicky,very warm and welcoming lady with good behaviour, only to be received by the guy named Sidney and he was very rude towards us and unfriendly. We then even decided to check out on Sunday instead of the actual day which was on Monday the 3rd. Other than that we had a great stay, the food was perfect, staff was good, rooms were comfortable and welcoming.
